Kick-off meeting for PEACE student exchange program from 6 to 8 of March, 2017

Hiroshima University has started a new student exchange program with Great Mekong Sub-region universities, so-called PEACE student exchange program, supported by Japanese government.
For a kick-off meeting of this program, we invited Associate Professor Pham Hoang Kien from University of Transport and Communications (UTC) and Mr Nguyen Kiet, a student from Ho Chi Minh City, University of Technology (HCMUT) to join in a small meeting on March 6, 2017. Professor Akiyoshi Ohashi introduced the outlines of graduate school of engineering and department of civil and environmental engineering and the recent research topics of all professors in our department. Assistant Professor Bui Phuong Trinh, Mr. Ho Si Lanh, Mr. Dang Quoc Viet, and Mr. Tran Anh Quan, Vietnamese students in our department, also introduced life and study of Vietnamese students in Hiroshima University briefly to Associate Professor Pham Hoang Kien. After short laboratory tour, we also celebrated a small welcome party for Associate Professor Pham Hoang Kien and Mr Nguyen Kiet.
