Miss Hiromi Kanbara (Year 2 doctoral student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, Hiroshima University), received the ICCEE Best Young Researcher Award. The award recognized her presented paper “What are the environmental factors for deciding the dominant type of methane oxidizing bacteria?” in the 18th International Conference on Civil and Environmental Engineering.
