Starting in FY2020, the HIRAKU-Global Center (provisional name), which is responsible for the operation of the Program, will select promising early career researchers with high aspirations who can promote international collaborative research while utilizing this program (described later), among newly or recently appointed tenure-track faculty members (equivalent to assistant professors) at Hiroshima University.
 
By providing opportunities and quality support for their professional and personal development, the Program will raise their profile in the global community, enhance the quality of their global network and accelerate international collaborative research.
 
Eligibility (The applicant must satisfy both criteria):  
・Those with a research experience of less than 10 years after obtaining their doctoral degree, or equivalent (under 40 years of age)
・Those in a tenure-track faculty position (equivalent to assistant professor) at Hiroshima University, within about two years after being
hired to the position (or those who will be hired by the institutions in April 2020)
