The result of MEXT's mid-term evaluation of the HIRAKU-Global Program has been published (overall rating: S)

The program for "World-Class Researcher Development Through Regional Collaboration (HIRAKU-Global Program)" was selected by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) under the "Strategic Professional Development Program for Young Researchers" grant in FY2019, and subsequently, in FY2023, MEXT undertook a mid-term evaluation of the Program.

The collaborative efforts between Hiroshima University (Lead Organization), Yamaguchi University, Tokushima University, and Ehime University (Partner Organizations), as well as the development of the Program's various features (such as the Individual Development Plan (IDP), Achievement Card (AC), etc.), were rated particularly highly. Four of the six specific evaluation items (which are listed below) were rated "s (very high level)", resulting in an overall rating of "S (outstanding)".
