Curriculum Policy

Daytime Course/Public Policy Program

With the aim of making students achieve the targets set by the program, the Public Policy Program composes and implements curricula based on the following policy:

・In the first year, students learn Fundamental Subjects and Fundamental Specialized Subjects, which are considered specialized educational subjects as the introduction to programs offered by the School of Law.  
・In the second year, students select a program and conduct groundwork for achieving program targets through legal, political and social classes and Basic Subjects.
・In the third and fourth years, students further develop the practical skills to analyze the dynamics of legal and political systems and policy making through the Specialized Subjects and applied subjects of each field.   
・Through composing a seminar thesis in a Specialized Subject and writing a thesis on Public Policy and the links between the Public and Private Sectors (integrated subject), students improve their problem solution abilities by integrating the knowledge, skills and abilities obtained in this program.
・Learning achievements are assessed based on the grades of each class and the achievement level of the targets set by the educational program.

Daytime Course/Business Legal Program

With the aim of making students achieve the targets set by the program, the Business Legal Program composes and implements curricula based on the following policy:

・In the first year, students learn Fundamental Subjects and Fundamental Specialized Subjects, which are considered specialized educational subjects as the introduction to programs offered by the School of Law.
・In the second year, students select a program and conduct groundwork for achieving program targets through legal, political and social classes and Basic Subjects.
・In the third and fourth years, students further develop practical skills to analyze issues that corporations and related institutions are facing through the Specialized Subjects and applied subjects of each field.
・Through composing a seminar thesis in a Specialized Subject and writing a thesis on International Society and Corporate Law (integrated subject, conducted in the second semester of the senior year), students improve their problem-solving abilities by integrating the knowledge, skills and abilities obtained in this program.
・Learning achievements are assessed based on the grades of each class and the achievement level of the targets set by the educational program.

Evening Main Course/Law and Politics Program

With the aim of making students achieve the targets set by the program, the Law and Politics Program composes and implements curricula based on the following policy.

・In the first year, students learn Fundamental Subjects and Fundamental Specialized Subjects, which are considered specialized educational subjects as the introduction to programs offered by the School of Law.
・In the second year, students select a program and conduct groundwork for achieving the program targets through legal, political and social classes and some Basic Subjects.
・In the third and fourth years, students further develop practical skills to analyze issues that corporations are facing and issues concerning the political process through Specialized Subjects and applied subjects of each field.
・Through composing a seminar thesis in a Specialized Subject, students improve their problem-solving abilities by integrating knowledge, skills and abilities obtained in this program.
・Learning achievements are assessed based on the grades of each class and the achievement level of the targets set by the educational program.
