- CiNii Dissertations (National Institute of Informatics) You can search for doctoral theses awarded by domestic universities. For detailed search, enter "Hiroshima University" in the "University Conferring Degree" field to find Hiroshima University's doctoral theses.
- Hiroshima University Academic Information Repository Publishes full-text doctoral theses awarded by Hiroshima University from FY2013 onwards. In some cases, only summaries may be published. Doctoral theses from before FY2012 are published only with author's permission.
- National Diet Library Search
It is possible to search for doctoral theses awarded in Japan from 1923 to present.
To limit search to doctoral theses, select "Doctoral Thesis" in filtering options.
- National Diet Library Digital Collection
Electronic Searches for Doctoral theses in the library's collection. Enter "Hiroshima University" in "Publisher/Awarding University" to find Hiroshima University's theses. Therefore, theses marked "Library Transmission Materials" can be accessed on computers in the Central Library.
Doctoral Thesis Viewing/Copying
Doctoral theses from Hiroshima University up to FY2012 are stored as print materials in the Central Library's Special Materials Room.
Can be viewed and copied within the library. To view, fill out a usage form with author name, thesis title, and degree award number.
Counter hours: Monday-Friday, 9:45-16:15
※ (Closed weekends and holidays)
Copying permitted within copyright limits (up to half the total).
Full page copying requires direct author permission.
Theses from FY2013 onwards are fully available in the Academic Information Repository
※Theses not available online can be viewed in the Central Library.
