Program of Pharmaceutical Sciences strives to help students obtain accurate chemical/medical information on pharmaceutical products and a strong interest in science after their 3^rd year, while offering basic pharmaceutical knowledge at their 2^nd and 3^rd years. In pursuit of becoming pharmacists and pharmaceutical researchers with a high degree of expertise, students are able to acquire skills as pharmacists; expressing their opinions from a scientific perspective as a member of a medical team and having a responsibility for proper use of pharmaceutical products. Moreover, we enforce a collaborative research project, the advanced education program to cultivate highly skilled and specialized pharmacists capable of taking a leading role in the world」, supported by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology-Japan. Students are qualified to take the national examination for pharmacists at graduation. Those who pass the exam can work as a pharmacist after officially registered as a pharmacist by Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. Students are also given the chance to proceed to a 4-year doctoral course at Division of Biomedical Sciences, Graduate School of Biomedical and Health Sciences and obtain Doctor of Pharmacy.

National Examination for Pharmacists
