長期履修制度とは、仕事や家事等の都合で通学する機会が限られている方が、通常の修業年限を超えて計画的に学修することを支援する制度です。ソーシャルデータサイエンスプログラムの博士課程前期の修業年限は2年ですが、この制度を利用すれば、3～4年かけて計画的に履修していくことができ、しかも、在学期間が長くなっても授業料の総額は、修業年限である2年間と同額になります。例えば、4年間で修了する旨申請し許可された場合には、毎年納付する授業料が半額になります。なお、制度適用の申請は入学直後の期間に限られていますので、ご注意ください。

The Long-term Enrollment System is a system that supports students who have limited opportunities to attend school due to work or family obligations to systematically study beyond the normal period of study. The duration of the first semester of the Doctoral Program in the Management Program is two years, but this system allows students to systematically complete their studies over three to four years, and the total amount of tuition fees is the same as the two-year duration of the program. For example, if a student applies for and is approved to complete the program in four years, the tuition fee will be reduced by half each year. Please note that the application for this system is limited to the period immediately after enrollment.

この制度は、雇用保険の被保険者の中で一定の要件を満たす人を対象に、働く方の主体的な能力開発の取組み又は中長期的なキャリア形成を支援するため、教育訓練受講に支払った費用の一部を国が支給する制度です。修了後に申請すると10万円が支給されます。

This program is a system under which the government reimburses a portion of the expenses paid for education and training courses for those insured by employment insurance who meet certain requirements, in order to support workers' independent efforts to develop their abilities or mid- to long-term career development.  Program is designated as a course eligible for general education and training benefits under this system, and 100,000 yen will be paid upon application after completion.
