Please note that, with various types of financial assistance on offer, including scholarships and tuition fee exemptions, competition is strong and opportunities are limited. Moreover, only a few types of scholarship cover all daily expenses, tuition fees and admission fees. It is possible to engage in part-time work, but you must gain approval for part-time work from both the university and the Immigration Bureau, and observe the permitted number of hours. Part-time work opportunities tend to be limited for those with insufficient Japanese language proficiency. Therefore, it is important not to rely solely on scholarships or part-time job opportunities. We urge you to plan your financial arrangements well in advance of enrollment.
