平成28年12月4日，化学専攻　博士課程後期2年　辻本聖也さんが，The 12th International Workshop on Ionizing Radiation Monitoring, 2016において，Best Poster Award及びOral Presentation Awardを受賞しました。

「A rice growing phase of cesium absorption in the paddies in Fukushima」と題する発表が，優秀なポスター発表及び口頭発表と認められたため，受賞しました。
