平成29年12月16日，化学専攻　博士課程後期2年　鬼塚侑樹さん，博士課程前期1年　天道尚吾さんが，The 14th Nano Bio Info Chemistry Symposiumにおいて，The Best Student Presentation Awardを受賞しました。

鬼塚さんは，”Detection of Electronically Excited NH₂ product in the Ultraviolet Photodissociation of Methylamine”という題目で，天道さんは，”Detection of Atomic Oxygen O(³P) with Vacuum Ultraviolet Emission Subsequent to Two-Photon Excitation”という題目で英語口頭発表を行い，きわめて優秀な発表であると認められたため受賞しました。
