Confirmed case of COVID-19 at HU (2021.5.18 UPDATE)

On May 17, 2021, 1 HU student tested positive for COVID-19.

On May 16, the Japanese government declared a state of emergency for Hiroshima Prefecture. In line with these measures, the restrictions on activities at HU — including classes — were raised to Level 2 (Exercise caution, partial restrictions) from May 17.

HU requests all students to thoroughly implement measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 — such as wearing non-woven masks while on campus. HU will continue doing its utmost to prevent the spread of infection both inside and outside the university.
