THE FIRST STUDENT EVENT:“TA SEMINAR” HELD IN JULY!

 The Student Staff of the Center for Academic Practice and Resources held a “TA seminar” event on July 19, 2022, at the Student Plaza, 1st floor.
 This event was organised by the Student Staff of the Center for Academic Practice and Resources, who are interested in get involved in promoting the educational activities of Hiroshima Univerisity as teaching assisntants (TAs). In the event, the participants interacted with other graduate students  and exchange their opinions and concerns each other while working as TAs.   
 All the participants actively exchanged their ideas and opinions about working as TAs at Hiroshima University. Six students from the School of Science, Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences and Graduate School for International Development and Cooperation (IDEC), which included some international students and graduate students, participated in the event. They talked about the major jobs of QTA (Qualified Teaching Assistant) and TF (Teaching Fellow), how to find their job on campus, how to upgrade their TA qualifications and other relevant worries and concerns as TAs.
 In addition, some questions were about how TA experience is connected to their future career prospects. The Student Staff offered their interesting opinions for these questions and activated their discussion about the topic.
