On 1 November 2022, the "HU Students’ Meeting" organized by the Center for Academic Practice and Resources was held on the first floor of the Student Plaza.
　This gathering was organized by the center’s student staff, mainly for the first and second year undergraduate (Including transfer students) and graduate students, with the aim of creating an opportunity for students to interact with each other regardless of their department or academic year and to talk casually about their studies and daily life problems at the university.
　On the day, a variety of students joined in our gathering from different faculties such as the School of Integrated Arts and Sciences, School of Engineering, Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering, and Morito Institute of Global Higher Education (Sixteen students and student staff in total) and had a great time. The main topics of the conversation included concerns about university life, studying abroad and how to spend their daily life. The lively conversation went on for an hour.
　Many students also asked each other questions and exchanged opinions about further education and employment. It seemed that our gathering provided a good opportunity to share not only everyday topics but also future career paths.
　In the post-gathering questionnaire, we received positive comments such as "I really enjoyed the interaction here with other participants" and " It was good to connect with students from new and different countries and share how they are living their lives. I hope it continues in the future.".
