[Event Information] We will hold a social gathering, “HU Students! Get together (7th)” (we also welcome the students who participated in the 6th)

To all new students, congratulations on your enrollment at Hiroshima University!

Center for Academic Practice and Resources (CAPR) will announce that we hold a social gathering, “Freshman! Get together (7th)” for new students.
This event is a great opportunity for new students to get to know each other. We invite all new students who want to expand their circle of relationships, have worries and anxieties, or have questions they want to ask the graduate student staff at CAPR. *The students who participated in the 6th (April) are also welcome to join!

 

○Date and time: Tuesday, June 20th, 2023, from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM

○Place: East Library, 3F(Higashi-Hiroshima Campus)

○Contents:
“Freshman! Get together (7th)” mainly aims to provide an opportunity for new students to interact with other new students and expand their circle of relationships. Every year, many new students participate in this event!
On the day of the gathering, participants will be divided into groups of 4 to 5 people ( new students + student staff). They enjoy topic talks (e.g., What surprised you when you came to Hiroshima University?) and free talks. Participants can talk about anything from daily topics to problems in their studies and daily lives. Additionally, they can discuss their worries and concerns with the graduate student staff.

○Participants: New students (undergraduate students and graduate students)

○Capacity: Approximately 30 people (on a first-come, first-served basis)

Please note the following two points during the event:
1. Please avoid the "Three Cs": closed spaces, crowded places, and close-contact settings.
2. The wearing of masks is at the discretion of the individual. However, if you have symptoms such as coughing or sneezing, please wear a non-woven mask.
