The Center for Academic Practice and Resources held the 4th TA Seminar of the 2024 academic year on November 14, 2024, on the 1st floor of the Mirai Crea. The theme of this TA Seminar was “TA Exchange Meeting in Autumn”, and it was aimed at making participants understand Hirodai TA System and Hirodai TA Matching Platform, and interaction among participants interested in TA. In the group talks, participants asked questions and discussed the Hirodai TA system and Matching Platform in more detail, and shared their own TA experiences.
In the questionnaire, we received comments such as “The program is very helpful” and “Good environment for international students.”, and we believe that we achieved the purpose we set for this seminar. As themes for future TA seminars, we received comments such as “Language barrier, communication with Japanese students”, “Exchange meetings between teachers and TAs”, “How TA experience can improve your career”, and we will consider them for next TA seminars.
The next TA seminar will be held in January. We are still discussing the contents of the seminar, but we plan to make the next one as meaningful as possible for all participants. The student staffs of the Center for Academic Practice and Resources are looking forward to meeting you all.
