Congratulations on joining Hiroshima University!
Why not come along to the “HU Freshman! Get together”?
“HU Freshman! Get together” is a social event for new students to meet, chat, and make new connections across faculties, home regions, and interests.
If you would like to make new friends, talk casually about university life, or are feeling a little nervous about starting life at university, why not come along?

〇Date and time: Monday, 27th April 2026, 4.30 pm–5.30 pm

〇Venue: Student Plaza, 1st Floor, Higashi-Hiroshima Campus, Hiroshima University

〇Who can join: New students (undergraduate and postgraduate students)

〇Capacity: About 30 participants (first come, first served)

What we will do:
The main aim of “HU Freshman! Get together” is to give new students a chance to meet one another and widen their circle of friends. Every year, many new students join us!

On the day, you will be placed in a small group of four or five people (new students and student staff) and enjoy conversation. You can talk about anything from everyday topics to worries about study or daily life in a relaxed atmosphere. You can also speak with the student staff if there is anything you would like to ask or talk about.
