On September 27th 2018, Hiroshima University (HU) held a study abroad information session for its Graduate School of Science in Capital Normal University (CNU) of China, in which HU Beijing Research Center is located. This event was attended by ten interested students.

During the information session, an explanation was given about the Special Selection for International Students, as well as about the Joint Graduate School Program launched by CNU and HU in 2015. Also, application guide books were distributed to all the participating students who then were given detailed and useful information.
A previous aptitude test is scheduled for the coming November at HU Beijing Research Center for students who wish to enroll in the Graduate School of Science.

HU has been selected by the MEXT for the “Top Global University Project” as one of Japan's top 13 universities (Type A), and is actively recruiting international students. Aside from this session in Beijing, in 2018 HU plans to hold further study abroad information sessions in several different countries. Through such activities, it is anticipated that a larger number of students from overseas will enroll at HU.
