On November 17, 2020, Hiroshima University Morito Institute of Global Higher Education held a Joint Opening Ceremony for the International Student Project at Building K of  Education. There were 1 in the Intensive Japanese Training Course and 4 in the Japanese Language and Culture Studies Program in attendance at the ceremony.

Dr. Taiji Hotta, Morito Institute of Global Higher Education delivered a welcome address. Students from 5 different countries will pursue Japanese language and Culture studies for half a year or a year.
