The library offers diverse opportunities for learning and interaction, including workshops that promote dialogue inspired by reading and language exchange events with international students.
Book Bridges
This workshop encourages connections with people one would not usually encounter, aiming to deepen thinking and broaden perspectives through reading and dialogue.
English at the Library
This is a language exchange event where participants can enjoy conversations in English with English-speaking staff and international students. Beginners in English are also welcome.
Japanese at the Library
This event allows international students learning Japanese and Japanese students to interact in Japanese. Through conversation, participants can deepen their understanding of each other's languages and cultures.
Bibliobattle
Participants introduce their recommended books within five minutes, and everyone votes to decide which book they most want to read. It is an intellectual book review competition.
