【Recent highlights】
In 2017, a new Prof. Kirimoto has taken post, and this department was renamed to Sensorimotor Neuroscience. In recent works, he demonstrated that transcranial static magnetic field stimulation (tSMS) could modulate cortical somatosensory processing in humans (Kirimoto et al, Brain stimulation, 2014; scientific Reports, 2016; Frontiers Hum Neurosci, 2018; Brain Sciences, 2020). We are preparing for clinical application of tSMS for facilitate the treatment of various neurological disorders.
