Improving food quality at the molecular, organismal and ecosystems levels was highlighted at the 10th International Symposium on Food and Environment

The Graduate School of Biosphere Science organized the 10th International Symposium on Food and Environment on November 4, 2017 as part of the Hiroshima University Homecoming Day festivities.  The symposium was co-hosted by the Research Center for Animal Science, the Research Center for Japanese Foods and the Research Core for Plant Science Innovation, Hiroshima University.  The focus of the symposium this year was “Status of Biotic Resources and Efforts for Sustainable Production in Asian Countries”.  Close to a hundred participants were present representing academic staffs, students and members of the general public.
