Economics Program(Doctoral Course)

[Important]The Economics Program and the Management Sciences Program in the Division of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, Graduate School of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences will be integrated in April 2027.

In addition, applicants wishing to enroll from the 2027 academic year onward in the field of Finance who plan to apply through the selection for working professionals will be affiliated with a different course. Please refer to the admissions information on the relevant page.

Special Selection for International Students

・Guidelines for Applicants were published in August 2025.
・Some of the Special Selection Programs for International Applicants at Hiroshima University require applicants to register an account with the HU-IAAS(Hiroshima University International Admissions Assistant (IAA) System) in addition to the procedures described in the application guideline. Please note that the Economics Program does not require any procedures through the HU-IAAS.

The Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences Economics Program and the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences Management Sciences Program will be integrated in April 2027.

In addition, applicants who wish to enroll from the 2027 academic year onward in the field of Finance and plan to apply through the Working Adult Entrance Examination will be enrolled in a different course.
