Japan Africa Dream Scholarship (JADS) Program
The Japan Africa Dream Scholarship (JADS) is a capacity building program by the African Development Bank and the Government of Japan.
The program offers high-achieving African students a two-year scholarship opportunity to pursue post-graduate studies at master’s level in energy, agriculture, health, environmental sustainability, and engineering.
The scholarship is open to applicants from regional member countries of the African Development Bank, with relevant educational and professional experience and a track record of supporting their countries’ development efforts.

February 27, 2026, at 17:00 (JST).

*Applicants must obtain permission to belong to a faculty member's laboratory before applying for an entrance examination.
*CoE is required to apply for a student-visa at a Japanese diplomatic mission in the applicant’s country; Admitted students are responsible for the cost incurred for the visa application.
