講演題目：Dynamics and decoherence of a qubit coupled to a quantum two-level system



概要：Recent experiments have found evidence of quantum-coherent

two-level systems (TLSs) in a qubit's environment. I will discuss the　dynamics of a qubit in the presence of an uncontrollable quantum TLS.

　Depending on the different parameters in the problem, such as the　qubit-TLS coupling strength and the various decoherence times, the　two-level system can simply contribute to the total qubit decoherence　times or it could qualitatively modeify the qubit dynamics. I will　consider several different cases and analyze the effect of the TLS in　each one of them.
