The Quantum Matter Program seeks students who possess the following aspirations and motivation, and have a solid foundation in relevant subjects:

A desire to develop significant abilities as a researcher, to achieve expertise sufficient for obtaining a doctoral degree, and to pursue advanced professional careers as researchers and engineers in fields such as fundamental material science, condensed matter physics, materials science and engineering, and electronic engineering.
  2. An ambition to discover new findings in physics, apply them to practical applications, and/or develop integrated systems, irrespective of one's prior experience or background.
  3. An eagerness to establish new businesses, explore scientific truths, and apply academic findings.
