Overview
In September 2006, Hiroshima University and Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) signed an inter-university academic exchange agreement, marking the beginning of a strong and enduring partnership. This collaboration was further strengthened in July 2010 with the establishment of the Hiroshima University Bandung Center at ITB. Over the years, our two institutions have actively engaged in joint research, academic exchanges, and international industry-academia collaborations, including technical training workshops for engineers in Japanese industrial parks.
This year, as Hiroshima University celebrates its 75th anniversary, we are also approaching the 18th anniversary of our agreement in September 2024. In recognition of these milestones, we are pleased to announce a symposium that will celebrate our shared achievements and further promote academic development between our two universities and countries.
