Dear new students of Hiroshima University,

　Congratulations on your enrollment at Hiroshima University! Center for Academic Practice and Resources (CAPR) will announce that we hold a social gathering, “Freshman! Get together (1th)” for new students. 
　This event is a great opportunity for new students to get to know each other. We invite all new students who want to expand their circle of relationships, have worries and anxieties, or have questions they want to ask the graduate student staff at CAPR.

○Date and time: Wednsday, April 24th, 2024, from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM

○Place: 1F, Student Plaza, Hiroshima University (Higashi-Hiroshima Campus)

○Contents:
　“Freshman! Get together (1th)” mainly aims to provide an opportunity for new students to interact with other new students and expand their circle of relationships. Every year, many new students participate in this event! 
　In the event, participants will be divided into groups of 4 to 5 people (new students + student staff). They enjoy topic talks (e.g., What surprised you when you came to Hiroshima University?) and free talks. Participants can talk about anything from daily topics to problems in their studies and daily lives. Additionally, they can discuss their worries and concerns with the graduate student staff.

○Participants: New students (undergraduate students and graduate students)

○Capacity: Approximately 30 people (on a first-come, first-served basis)
