【Recent highlights】
Oral cancer is a rare malignancy and conducting high-evidence clinical research within a single oral and maxillofacial surgery department is limited. Therefore, we actively engage in multicenter collaborative clinical studies, aiming to standardize diagnostics and optimize treatment strategies for clinical implementation. Additionally, due to the diversification of oral and maxillofacial diseases, we are working on developing clinical course prediction models using artificial intelligence (AI) by integrating various clinical data.

【Education】
In the School of Dentistry, we are responsible for teaching Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Basic Clinical Practice in Maxillofacial Medicine. Our primary focus is on the diagnosis and treatment of conditions in the oral, maxillofacial, and craniofacial regions, including inflammation, trauma, benign and malignant tumors. In the graduate school, we teach Oral Cancer Control, aiming to provide education that enhances both high specialization and uniqueness, while guiding students toward obtaining certification as specialists in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
