Depending on the request, we prepare wafers and polished pieces of rocks and minerals as follows:

• Preparation of wafers (about 30 μm thick) with a polarizing microscope, for the examination of rock structure, mineral classification, measurement of optical properties in minerals, and fine fossils, etc.
• Preparation of abrasive shards and wafers for the analysis of rocks, minerals and other constituent elements.
