In order to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus and to ensure a safe and comfortable examination environment, please be sure to confirm the following requests in advance.

The information in the application guideline is subject to change depending on the infection status of the novel coronavirus.
Any changes will be announced on the website of the Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering.

[Up to the day before the examination]
・If you have novel coronavirus infection and are hospitalized on the examination day or are receiving medical treatment at your home or accommodation, you cannot take the test.
・In principle, persons with close contact person of Novel Coronavirus-infected persons are not allowed to take the examination.
(Close contact person of Novel Coronavirus-infected persons are those who have been reported by Public Health Center to be close contact person of Novel Coronavirus-infected persons, and those who have been contacted indirectly by infected persons.)
・About asymptomatic close contact person of Novel Coronavirus-infected persons, if you meet the requirements (1) to (3) below, you may be able to take the test in a separate examination room, so please contact the following contact information in advance.
　(1) Negative as a result of initial screening (tests such as PCR carried out by the local government or medical institutions instructed by the local government).
　(2) Must be asymptomatic on the examination day.
　(3) To go to the examination room without using public transportation and avoiding places where people are crowded.
・Please check the body temperature should be measured about 7 days before the examination date, such as in the morning, for any changes in your physical condition.
・Candidates with symptoms such as fever and cough should visit a medical institution in advance.
・Please wash your hands, disinfect your fingertips, ventilation, practice good cough etiquette, maintain a safe physical distance and Please also take care of your health by eating a well-balanced diet, getting adequate exercise, resting, and sleeping.
・The novel coronavirus contact confirmation application (COCOA) allows users to receive notification when they may have come into contact with a person who is positive for novel coronavirus infection. We recommend downloading this app because it enables users to receive support from health centers quickly, such as receiving subsequent tests.

[About the day of the examination]
・Please be sure to wear a mask (Ensure that both the nose and mouth are covered) in the examination room and its surrounding area. Please also do not discard the used mask in trash bins located on campus but bring it back to your home.

・Please take your temperature on the morning of the test and come to the test site.
・Please disinfect your hands with antiseptic solution at the entrance of the examination room
・If you have any symptoms of common cold on the examination day, please report to the office.
・Please avoid close contact with other examinees as much as possible and ensure physical distance
・During the examination time or break time, we will open the windows of the examination room periodically for the purpose of ventilation.
・The aforementioned measures are subject to change. If there is any change, we will notify it on the web site of the Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering.

In order to prevent the outbreak or spread of infectious diseases, please be aware that your name and contact information may be provided to public institutions such as health centers, etc., as necessary.
