Childcare Services associated with Temporary Closure of Elementary Schools

In response to the recent government’s request to temporary close all elementary schools in Japan that was made to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 based on the Article 20 of School Health and Safety Act, Hiroshima University implements the childcare services stated below. Those who wish to use the services, please apply by 2 days prior to the first date of the service period of your choice.

Operation of this club

■Target

 Faculty and staff members of Hiroshima University (including temporary and part-time staff)

■Intended children

 1st - 6th graders at elementary school whose parents are not at home due to their occupations.
 ※This time, we give higher priority to 1st – 3rd graders.

■Period

 Weekdays from Mar. 5th (Thurs) to Mar. 25th (Wed), 2020
 ※During the period of temporary shutdown of elementary schools due to measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

■Operation

 8:15 - 17:30

■Capacity

 Higashi-Hiroshima area:  About 20
 Hiroshima area : About 30

Application period : Mar. 3rd (Tue) – Mar. 19th (Thurs)
(The deadline for each day is 12:00(noon))
※ The services require reservations. Therefore, please submit your application by 2 days prior to the first date of the service period of your choice.
※ You can download “Application form” from below.
※ For the service on March 5th (Thurs), applications are accepted until noon on Mar. 4th (Wed).
