Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (pharmaceutical sciences; master’s course) was established (the quota 14).

・Graduate School of Medicine was changed to a Graduate School of Medical Science, and the Molecular Pharmaceutical Science Major and the Pharmacobiodynamics Major were established at the new graduate school.
・Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (master’s course) was abolished and renamed.Graduate School of Medical Science by including two pharmaceutical majors in the Graduate School of Medicine.

The Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences was established by transferring there to fundamental faculty divisions, and reorganizing the eight majors of the Graduate School of Medical Science (except for the Department of Health Sciences) and one major of the Graduate School of Dentistry into three majors of the new graduate school.(3 programs, 9 divisions (The class capacity was 43 master degree, 115 doctor degree)

The Biomedical Research Major of the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (Divisions of Molecular Medical Science, Integrated Medical Science, and Frontier Medical Science) was reorganized into a major consisting of four divisions (Divisions of Molecular Medical Science, Integrated Medical Science, Frontier Medical Science, and Genome Radiobiology and Medical Science).

The Certified Nurse in Hospice Care Course under the Center for Advanced Nursing Practice and Research was renamed Certified Nurse in Palliative Care Course.

Center for Advanced Practice and Research of Rehabilitation was established.

Certified Nurse in Neonatal Intensive Care Course under the Center for Advanced Nursing Practice and Research was established.
