Graduate School of Medicine (doctoral course) was established.

Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (pharmaceutical sciences; master’s course) was established (the quota 14).

◆Apr. 1982
・Graduate School of Medicine was changed to a Graduate School of Medical Science, and the Molecular Pharmaceutical Science Major and the Pharmacobiodynamics Major were established at the new graduate school.
・Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (master’s course) was abolished and renamed.Graduate School of Medical Science by including two pharmaceutical majors in the Graduate School of Medicine.

Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences was abolished.

Health Sciences Major (master’s course) was established at the Graduate School of Medical Science (the quota 34).

◆Apr. 1998
Health Sciences Major (doctoral course) was established at the Graduate School of Medical Science (the quota 17).

・The Division of Pharmacotherapy was established at the Graduate School of Medical Science.
・A doctoral course of the Clinical Pharmacy Major was established as an independent major at the Graduate School of Medical Science (the quota 16).

The Health Sciences Major of the Graduate School of Medical Science was renamed the Graduate School of Health Sciences.

Graduate School of Dental Science (basic dentistry, clinical dentistry; doctoral course) was established.

Graduate School of Dental Science was reorganized into one major from two majors.

Graduate School of Dental Science was abolished.

The Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences was established by transferring there to fundamental faculty divisions, and reorganizing the eight majors of the Graduate School of Medical Science (except for the Department of Health Sciences) and one major of the Graduate School of Dentistry into three majors of the new graduate school.(3 programs, 9 divisions (The class capacity was 43 master degree, 115 doctor degree)

・The Medical and Dental Sciences Major (master’s course) was established at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (The number of admitted students into the program is 20).

The Biomedical Research Major of the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (Divisions of Molecular Medical Science, Integrated Medical Science, and Frontier Medical Science) was reorganized into a major consisting of four divisions (Divisions of Molecular Medical Science, Integrated Medical Science, Frontier Medical Science, and Genome Radiobiology and Medical Science).

The Oral Health Science Major (master’s course) was established at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences(The number of admitted students into the program is 12).

The Medicinal Sciences Major (master’s course) was established at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences(The number of admitted students into the program is 20).

The Oral Health Sciences Major (doctoral course) was established at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (The number of admitted students into the program is 4).

Master's program in the Programs for Medicinal Sciences was abolished in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.

Master's program in the Programs for Medical and Dental Sciences was abolished in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.

The Health Sciences Major of the Graduate School of Medical Science was renamed the Graduate School of Health Sciences.

The Health Sciences Major of the Graduate School of Health Sciences was upgraded, and the Division of Nursing Development Science and the Division of Science of Body and Mind Function and Lifestyle Management were established. (The class capacity was 34 master degree, 17 doctor degree)

◆Jun. 2006
Center for Advanced Nursing Practice and Research was established.

◆Apr. 2007
・Certified Nurse Specialists (CNS) course under the Center for Advanced Nursing Practice and Research was established.
・Certified Nurse in Hospice Care Course was established under the Center for Advanced Nursing Practice and Research affiliated with Graduate School of Health Sciences.

◆Jul. 2007
The Certified Nurse in Hospice Care Course under the Center for Advanced Nursing Practice and Research was renamed Certified Nurse in Palliative Care Course.

Center for Advanced Practice and Research of Rehabilitation was established.

Certified Nurse in Neonatal Intensive Care Course under the Center for Advanced Nursing Practice and Research was established.

The Center for Advanced Nursing Practice and Research and the Center for Advanced Practice and Research of Rehabilitation affiliated with the Graduate School of Health Sciences were transferred to the Graduate School of Biomedical and Health Sciences.
