The School of Integrated Arts and Science’s fundamental characteristic is a cross-disciplinary, integrative, and creative approach to academic inquiry.  We train independent and capable professionals who possess integrative knowledge and thinking.
Students who have demonstrated the following qualities and obtained the required credits will be awarded the Bachelor of Liberal Arts.

• Possess intellectual curiosity for interdisciplinary fields that span several academic areas and new fields that go beyond the traditional academic structure, and can lead in today’s society
• Can apply thought and originality to create new academic fields
• Persistently actively intellectually curious, and can adapt to new situations and challenges from an integrative perspective
• While having sympathy for and understanding of other cultures, can convincingly present one’s own positions and thus take an active role in global society
