Greetings from Hiroshima University (HU), Japan. We would like to thank you for subscribing for the mailing list of Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering (ASE-HU).

1. Message from the Dean of the Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering

To the Graduates, former Visiting Researchers and Partner Universities:

I would like to express my deep gratitude to you for registering for our mailing list.
Due to the effects of the new coronavirus infection, international exchange could not proceed as expected, but we were able to resume accepting new international students and dispatching our students overseas.

In April 2022, 103 new international students were accepted, and currently around 400 international students from 36 countries / regions are enthusiastically engaged in research at the Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering. On the other hand, we also resumed dispatching our domestic students to overseas partner universities for joint research, research internships, and presentations at international conferences.

Overseas dispatch of our students can only be carried out with the cooperation of our alumni and partner universities, host universities and institutions. Please continue to promote student exchanges with our university and international joint research.

In addition, at the end of September this year, we will send you the application guidelines for students enrolled in April 2023. If you have any motivated and ambitious students, please encourage them to study abroad at Hiroshima University.

If you have any questions or require additional information, please do not hesitate to contact our Administrative Office.

Takata Toshikazu
Dean, Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering Hiroshima University
