Doctor of Oral Health Science

1. A student must have acquired the ability to lead and expand the educational research in the oral health science field, and the abilities to contribute to the international society.
2. A student must have acquired the ability to establish the academic field of oral health science in order to maintain and promote the national health from the oral cavity.

1. The curriculum consists of lectures, advanced seminars, and research.
2. Subjects that are fundamental in learning the advanced oral health science field are established.
3. In order to deepen expertise and scholarship, omnibus lecture subjects are established.

１ Admission Policy
Based on the diploma policy and curriculum policy, Oral Health Sciences Major is seeking for the following students:

1. Those who are willing to deepen their knowledge in medicine and oral health science and acquire the abilities to promote education and/or research in oral health science
2. Those who are willing to be active educators in universities or colleges, researchers who promote food and nutrition education and/or knowledge in health, or educators/researchers with high expertise who disseminates a clinical system based on both IT and knowledge of molecular biology
3. Those who are willing to acquire abilities to practice advanced oral health sciences (oral sciences and oral engineering)

【General Selection】
In order to confirm applicants’ expertise and language skill in the master’s level and also to see the capability that is applicable to the curriculum policy of this major, an academic ability test (written examination and oral examination) will be conducted. Expertise, motivation for application, and motivation for research will be evaluated comprehensively.

【Special Selection for Students with careers】
In order to confirm applicants’ expertise and language skill in the master’s level and also to see the capability that is applicable to the curriculum policy of this major, an academic ability test (written examination and oral examination) will be conducted. 【Special Selection for International Students】

This course aims to nurture the following personnel:

1. Internationally active specialists capable of developing and leading education・research on oral health science.
2. Educators and researchers (university and company) capable of building academic health promotion strategies of oral and whole body focused on health maintenance / improvement of the people.
