BIBLA Group Space (Group Working Space)

Eligibility for Use	HU students, faculty staff and guests.
Purpose of Use	Group and individual study, research, teaching, etc.
Facilities	Movable desk, chair, white board, power outlets.
Voice Level	3: Talking permitted. PC use is permitted.
Application	No application is required for regular use.  Reservations are required for classes, etc. (Faculty and Staff only).

BIBLA Media Space (Multimedia Space）

Currently in preparation. Further details will be provided in due course.

Eligibility	HU students, faculty staff and HUL friendly users
Purpose of Use	Viewing microform materials, CD/DVD materials, and video materials; Creating digital data based on materials from inside and outside the library
Equipment	Microfilm reader, book scanner, 3D scanner, large display, standalone PC, desk, chair, power outlet
Voice Level	1: Keep silence. PC use is permitted (with headphones).
Application	Applications can be submitted through the designated form.  Exclusive use for classes is also available (faculty/staff only).
Usage Procedure	Borrow the key at the 1F counter.

Face-to-Face Reading Room

Eligibility for Use	HU students, faculty staff and HUL friendly users
Purpose of Use	Special support activities by faculty and students.
Equipment	Audio materials (DVDs, videos and cassettes), display, chair and partition
Voice Level	3: Talking permitted. PC use is permitted.
Application	Contact the office in advance for reservation and submit form at least one day before the scheduled date of use.
Usage Procedure	Borrow the key at the 1F counter.

Private Study Room for faculty

Eligibility for Use	HU faculty and staff
Purpose of Use	Individual study and research.

Application	No application is required Not available for reservation
Usage Procedure	Borrow a key from the private room key rental machine on the 1st floor.
Note	Not for use by more than one person

Library Hall

Eligibility for Use	Hiroshima University students, faculty staff
Purpose of Use	Lectures, research meetings, academic conferences, etc. for up to 100 people
Equipment	Table, chair power outlet, White board, Projector, Microphone
Voice Level	3: Talking permitted. PC use is permitted.
Application	Reservations Required
Usage Procedure	Submission of an application for use.

Regional and International Exchange Plaza

Eligibility for Use	Hiroshima University students, faculty staff, general public.
Purpose of Use	To present the results of research and activities to the community.
Equipment	15 display boards, 30 hanging hooks 1m, 30 hooks 1.5m, 7 display cases.
Voice Level	1: Keep silence. PC use is permitted (with headphones).
Application	Reservation Required
Usage Procedure	Application form must be submitted.

Eligibility for Use	Persons with permission to read or copy special materials, Japanese-language materials and rare materials
Purpose of Use	Use of materials in Rare Materials Room and Japanese-style rooms
Equipment	Desk, chair, photography stand
Voice Level	3: Talking permitted. PC use is permitted.
