Hands-on Editing:the Abstract Section

Participants:
Early career researchers in Life Science field.
 *Graduate students are welcome.
Accepting only the first 30 registrants.
This is a faculty development program.

Instructor:

Associate Professor in English for Medical Purposes (EMP)
University of Tsukuba

Outline:
The speaker will take the participants through the basics of scientific editing.
In the process, the participants will revise an original scientific abstract for correct format,
content, and grammar, as well as for improved style. In this way,
they will pick up some hints for polishing up their own manuscripts ahead of submission.
