In Japan, “IT” is an abbreviation for “Information Technology,” which refers to technologies related to information processing and communication using computers and networks.

This workshop aims to provide practical learning and acquisition of basic Japanese expressions that are considered useful for smooth communication and work when creating, processing, storing, retrieving, and exchanging all kinds of electronic data and information using computers in Japanese.

The Global Career Design Centre at Hiroshima University will be holding a workshop for young non-Japanese professionals in the Chugoku region, Japan, who want to work in or currently join the Japanese industry to make use of their expertise in the IT/AI field.

This workshop is focused on developing Japanese language skills in this area. Hopefully, this will contribute to the globalization of the IT/AI field and the realization of innovation in the Chugoku region's industry.
