Blow-up and Lifespan Estimates for Solutions to Nonlinear Wave Equations in Friedmann–Lemaître–Robertson–Walker Spacetime

For the Cauchy problem of nonlinear wave equations in Friedmann–Lemaître–Robertson–Walker (FLRW) spacetime, we derived the critical exponent separating the global existence and nonexistence of solutions for small initial data, and established finite-time blow-up and lifespan estimates in the critical and subcritical regimes.

Development of a Probabilistic Power Demand Forecasting Method Using AI and Bayesian Inference, and Its Application to Energy M…

A novel probabilistic forecasting method for power demand—an essential technology for energy management systems—has been developed by integrating AI and Bayesian inference to achieve high accuracy, explainability, uncertainty quantification, and real-time processing capability.

Optimal control policies in a hybrid MTS/MTO production system

Optimal control policies in a hybrid MTS/MTO production system equipped with multiple machines capable of MTS and MTO production by a setup operation were investigated.

Improvement of Deep Reinforcement Learning for Multi-Agent Systems via Training Data Sharing

Three training data-sharing methods are proposed and their effectiveness demonstrated.

Development of an active short leg orthosis driven by pneumatic artificial muscles according to the gait phase

This orthosis enabled the patient to walk with a large movement of the ankle joint even with little muscle activity.
