On June 8, 2019, all IGS first year students took part in a first-year internship event on Okunoshima island, also known as “rabbit island” and in Tadanoumi Port.

Students are separated into two groups. In Tadanoumi, they learned about tourism service and management. While on Okunoshima, they collected garbage and material for craft workshops at the visitor center and observed vegetation and tourists’ interaction with rabbits.
