On May 24, 2025, 39 first-year students from IGS participated in their first-year internship at Tadanoumi Port and Okunoshima Island. At Tadanoumi Port, they learned about tourism management, while on Okunoshima, they studied the island’s natural environment and history.
Activities included visiting the Poison Gas Museum, learning about the island’s geology, observing the environmental impact of rabbits, experiencing craft-making using local fruits, nuts, and branches, and observing tourists interacting with rabbits. It was a meaningful day of learning about Okunoshima from the three fields of IGS.
