1st:
 Title: Overview of Abstracts:
  What are abstracts?
  What is the purpose of an abstract?
  Key elements of abstracts.
  Examples of ‘good’ and ‘not so good’ abstracts.

2nd:
 Title: Writing the Abstract (Part 1)
 ‘The bones’ of an abstract.
  What does each part do?
  Strategies used to construct the abstract.

3rd:  
 Title: Writing the Abstract (Part 2)
 ‘Writing moves’ within an abstract.
 ‘Putting it together’.
 ‘Things to avoid’ in your abstract.

4th:
  Title: Finishing the Abstract
   Revising, editing and proofreading the abstract.
   Strategies to improve readability.

*The participants are strongly recommended to attend all workshops.
*This is a hands-on workshop series; please bring your own PC to the workshops

*This is a repeated workshop. All contents will be the same as the workshop held last academic year, but the activities will be different.
