The 3rd Online workshop ”Writing Abstracts”

The Writing Center invites HU faculty and graduate students to the 3rd Online workshop ”Writing Abstracts”.

Abstracts are one of the most important elements of an academic paper. They need to be short, concise and informative, as they function as a preview to a journal article. In this workshop, we look at the common structure of abstracts and the kind of information that is usually included in this text type.  After the workshop, you should be able to identify how abstracts in your field are constructed and to apply this knowledge when writing your own abstracts.
