[Outline]
This online workshop will share insights and advice from an experienced peer reviewer in Arts and Humanities to assist researchers to effectively revise manuscripts before the journal/book submission or re-submission. This online workshop includes a video and an online follow-up interactive session. The video will provide insights about foci in the double-blind peer review process, such as what Introduction is considered as “providing sufficient background information”, what Method is considered as “clearly explaining the validity of the research method”, what manuscript organization is considered as “a good flow” and other key aspects that a peer reviewer will assess. The follow-up interactive session will focus on the discussion and advice for (i) understanding reviewers’ comments and (ii) preparing and writing the Response to Reviewers. You are welcome to bring in your on-going manuscripts, your previous manuscripts and/or reviewers’ comments you have received previously into the interactive session for discussion.
