IGS student participated in international filmmaking workshop

IGS 2nd year student Elahe Nassr was one of 20 participants chosen from 324 applicants worldwide for the Kyoto Filmmakers Lab - Masters Session 2019. In this program, Kyoto Filmmakers Lab provides a networking chance for up-and-coming filmmakers. Participants meet and learn from industry professionals such as directors and producers. Kyoto Filmmakers lab collaborates with Japan's most important film festival TIFF (Tokyo International Film Festival), Toei and Shochiku studios and other institutions. Elahe Nassr presented her screenplays and made connections for her future work. She was able to enjoy many other activities such as closing ceremonies and dinner parties, sword fighting class, film screenings, studio tours, and VR films.
