On June 24, 2025, IGS welcomed four students and teachers from Kawananakoa Middle School and Niu Valley Middle School who were visiting Hiroshima from Honolulu, Hawaii as part of the International Exchange Program of Hiroshima Global Academy (HiGA).
The day began with a campus tour led by IGS students, and the visiting students toured the school facilities and learning environment. Afterwards, the students had lunch together in the cafeteria and deepened their friendship in a friendly atmosphere.
After lunch, more time was set aside to meet with more IGS students, who engaged in a lively exchange of ideas about their respective cultures and school lives.
At the end of the day, Professor Caroilin Funck, the Department Head, and Assistant Professor Simona Zollet warmly welcomed the visiting students and held the IGS briefing session.
This exchange was a meaningful international exchange opportunity for IGS.
