３年生の神田実鈴さんと野村ミカエル介さんが学内外での活動を評価され、2021年3月10日の表彰式で副学長表彰を受け取りました。

神田実鈴さん
高校時代から模擬国連に関わってきました。広島大学入学後は模擬国連サークルを立ち上げて、サークルのメンバーと広島県内の高校を訪問して高校生と模擬国連を開催し、国際問題について考えてもらう活動をしています。
広島大学が主催する「2020学生ヒロシマ『平和』を考えるサミット」に参加して「2020学生ヒロシマ宣言」の作成に関わりました。
本人からの感想：
I am honoured to receive such an award! I cannot believe that it has already been 3 years since I started the activity of promoting Model United Nations among high school students in Hiroshima. I think the project wouldn’t have lasted this long without people around me. I appreciate all the people who supported me to keep running the project.

野村ミカエル介さん
平和公園を訪れる外国人に英語で案内し、被曝の実相を伝えるユースピースボランティアとして活動しています。2020年8月にはボランティア代表として平和首長会議が主催する平和教育ウェビナーでミッションや活動内容を紹介し、16か国の学生と質疑・意見交換しました。
廿日市市のボランティア団体の活動にも参加し、日系フィリピン人児童・生徒の学習支援をしています。
本人からの感想：
I am happy to receive the news. This is thanks to all the support I receive from friends and professors. I hope that this will make me more motivated to be active in social activities!
