Two IGS Students won a first prize at the “Study in Hiroshima” Video Contest

In November 2022, Hiroshima Support Center for International Students (HiCIS) held a “Study in Hiroshima” video contest for foreign students living in Hiroshima. The theme of the contest was to promote study abroad in Hiroshima and attract foreigners interested in being students in Japan.

Mr. Kris Hadian Permana and Ms. Miriam Ilsa Arfani, who have graduated from IGS in March 2023, won prizes at the contest. They were awarded the first prize.
Here are comments from them.

This is my second time joining this contest and I really enjoyed making the video last time, so I decided to join this contest again. This time, I joined the contest with my friend Kris as a way to capture our last year as a student in Hiroshima University. This video was inspired by the beautiful autumn scenery in this campus and we thought that this would be a perfect way to capture the atmosphere of this university. I am beyond grateful and happy  that we won first place. I hope that this video will inspire people around the world and will show how great Hiroshima University is.

This is my last year as a student at Hiroshima University, and I wanted to make something that would remind me of living and studying here. Then I found this video contest. Mia and I made it for fun, but I was really happy that our video got selected as the best one. I hope that after watching our video, many international students will be interested in choosing Hiroshima University as their place to study.
