Research by Professor Toshihiro Yamada and his colleagues was featured in the PLoS ONE

A research team with IGS students led by Professor Toshihiro Yamada of the Graduate School of Integrated Biosciences has observed and recorded the bamboo stand of Phyllostachys nigra var. henonis in Higashihiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, for three years after its flowering in 2020, and their research has revealed its life-historical traits.
